June 2002 Dhaka, June 22, 2002. A highly informative and fascinating article on Bangladesh's change over the past few years ("Bangladesh: The perpetual struggle against perception"), that covers everything from anecdotes with leading politicians and private sector players, to capital market developments to interesting new restaurants in the Gulshan area of Dhaka, written by none other than EPL Managing Director Mark Reinecke, was published in the June 21, 2002 issue of The Gloom, Boom, Doom Report. The issue was so well received locally that the Dhaka Stock Exchange unanimously approved it to be re-printed in the June 2002 issue of the DSE Monthly.
